A flat disc of wax, small and compact - set it, light it, and let it give four hours of still, unscented light.

The Withe Watch
A small, steady candle — twelve hours of light you place somewhere deliberately. It needs a holder or vessel. Unscented, uncomplicated. Once it is lit, it asks very little.
